I really, really, really want to go to one of these....
Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival in Golden Gate Park complete with performances by Radiohead, Beck, Jack Johnson, the Black Keys and Cake with a farmers market to boot.
Treasure Island Music Festival with a bunch of bands I'm not familiar with but look like they can really rock, a Ferris wheel, and a legitimate reason to make the trek to Treasure Island.
Now I just need Interpol to come back to SF or go on tour anywhere in the U.S. for that matter.

Olafur Eliasson
SF MOMA is featuring an exhibit by artist Olafur Eliasson through February 24th. The exhibit consists of sculpture, lighting, and other elements which for the most part are interactive. This exhibit is an amazing experience not to be missed! The artist will be in San Francisco on February 27th for an Artist Talk at the museum.

Saturday, 5/19,THE GRADUATE @ Washington Sq. Park
Saturday, 6/2, HAIRSPRAY @ Dolores Park
Saturday, 6/30, CASABLANCA @ Union Square
Saturday, 7/21,SIXTEEN CANDLES @ Dolores Park
Saturday, 8/4, ANNIE HALL @ Union Square
Saturday, 8/25,8 1/2 (In Italian w/subtitles) @ Washington Sq. Park
Saturday, 9/15, REBEL WITHOUT A CAUSE @ Union Square
Saturday, 10/06, SUNSET BOULEVARD @ Dolores Park
*The movie starts at 8:00 PM
The crowds turn out to watch the movies on huge screens in beautiful outdoor settings. Popcorn, drinks, and candy are available for purchase. It's things like this that remind me of why I live in the city. I guess it's our version of the drive-in.

Weekend Planner
I'm joining friends this weekend for dinner at Ad Hoc, Thomas Keller's newest restaurant. I'll be back with the review on Monday. The rumor in the kitchen is short ribs for tomorrow's mainstay.
I'm going to try to make it to the the Brice Marden exhibit which closes on Sunday. (Don't miss the Picasso exhibit which won't be at SFMOMA much longer either.)
